Significant progress has been made towards the clinical application of human-machine interfaces (HMIs) based on electromyographic (EMG) pattern recognition for various rehabilitation purposes. The pattern recognition algorithm presented in this paper is a non parametric statistical pattern recognition algorithm base on a constrained k-means algorithm (Gordon, 1999). Making this technology practical and A simple linear discriminant analysis (LDA) classifier was used because it is a computationally efficient real-time operation and has classification performance similar to more complex algorithms [10,29,30]. The proposed technique will be tested in a simulation study. To compare the performance of the proposed technique the results of Fisher Discriminant Analysis (Duda and Hart, 1973) on the same data have been used. To be a valuable resource (and) should not be overlooked by any scholarly library. In my opinion (this book) has been proved . LINK: Download Discriminant Analysis and Statistical Pa… eBook (PDF).
